Some products you can buy before they are on our shelf: stock that is already on its way to Windhoek, and new products we order once enough growers have pre-ordered. The product page tells you which it is and when it ships. Here is how a pre-order works.
What you pay
You have two options.
- Pay in full now and save 10%. The discount comes off at checkout. You can pay by card or by bank transfer.
- Reserve it with a 30% deposit at the regular price. Ask us for a pre-order quotation; once the deposit is in, the stock is yours. The balance is due before we dispatch or hand over your order.
Commercial Grower Accounts pre-order at their account prices on their usual terms.
Your invoice
You receive a tax invoice for the full amount when your order is placed. On a deposit order it shows the deposit paid and the balance due. Invoices come from our accounts mailbox.
When it ships
The product page shows the date your pre-order ships from, which is about a week after the stock lands in Windhoek. If that date moves, we tell you, and while you wait you hear from us at least every two weeks.
For a new product we order on your behalf, the product page also shows when the pre-order closes and the minimum number of orders we need. We place the order the day the window closes, and we tell you within two days whether it went ahead.
If you change your mind
You can cancel any time before dispatch for a full refund, deposit included. Just tell us. If a new product does not reach its minimum, we refund everyone within 7 days. If we miss the latest promised date by more than 30 days, you can cancel for a full refund.
Collection and delivery
When your order lands we email you. Collect it from our warehouse or have it delivered. If your order also has items from the shelf, those go out straight away and the pre-ordered items follow when they land, at no extra delivery charge.
Warranty and returns
A pre-ordered product carries the same warranty and the same returns as anything else we sell.
